How many 64oz pitcher packs to buy for events, how to store bulk cold brew tea packets, and what to expect from Fruity Paradise Cold Brew in a crowd.
Quick answer
Buy one 64oz pitcher pack per 8 to 10 guests if you plan to serve a single round, and add a second pack for every hour of refills. For a 50-person event, that means starting with a 10-pack of Fruity Paradise Cold Brew 64oz Pitcher Packs and keeping a spare pack on hand.
Why pitcher packs beat loose-leaf brewing for a crowd
Cold brew pitcher packs are pre-measured for a 64oz pitcher, so you avoid scooping loose leaf tea and guessing ratios while guests are arriving. That consistency matters when you are making several pitchers back-to-back: each pack delivers the same bright fruity green tea flavor without bitterness, according to the product description.
The trade-off is flexibility. Pitcher packs are built for cold brewing, not hot tea, so if you want a hot option alongside the cold brew, you will need a separate loose-leaf tea. For events where cold drinks dominate, the packs simplify setup and cleanup.
How to store bulk cold brew tea packets before the event
Keep the pitcher packs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight until you are ready to brew. Because they are pre-portioned, you can open the 10-pack and use only what you need without exposing the rest to moisture. If you are buying wholesale for a future date, check the packaging for any specific storage instructions before you stash them in a pantry or garage.
When a 10-pack is too much (and when it is not enough)
A 10-pack is overkill for a household of two that drinks cold brew occasionally; a smaller size makes more sense if you only brew once a week. Conversely, for a wedding or office party with 100 guests, one 10-pack will not cover the first hour, so plan to buy two or three 10-packs depending on how long the event runs. The wholesale listing is priced per 10-pack, which makes it easier to scale up without buying individual packs.
Bulk brewing FAQ
- How many pitcher packs do I need for 50 guests?
- Assume one 64oz pitcher serves about 8 to 10 people. For 50 guests, you need 5 to 6 pitchers, which is 5 to 6 pitcher packs. A 10-pack gives you a buffer for refills or a second round. Round up if your guests are likely to have more than one glass.
- Can I brew multiple pitchers at once?
- Yes. Each pack is pre-measured for one 64oz pitcher, so you can brew several pitchers in parallel and chill them in the fridge. Just make sure you have enough fridge space before you start. Clear shelf space the day before your event.
- How far in advance can I brew cold brew for an event?
- Cold brew tea is best enjoyed fresh, but you can brew it the day before and keep it refrigerated in a covered pitcher. The product description does not specify a maximum hold time, so taste a small amount before serving to confirm the flavor is still bright. Label the brew date on the pitcher so you know how long it has been stored.
- Is the wholesale 10-pack a better value than buying singles?
- The catalog comparison price is USD 16.00 for the 10-pack, and the listed price is USD 9.60. That works out to USD 0.96 per pitcher pack at the sale price, which is lower than buying individual packs if you will use them within a reasonable time. Only buy bulk if you can store the packs properly and expect to brew at least several pitchers.
- What if I need a different size for a small gathering?
- The Fruity Paradise Cold Brew 64oz Pitcher Packs are sold in a 10-pack wholesale unit. If you need fewer, look for smaller pack sizes or single pitcher packs from the same product line. Check the available size options before ordering to avoid leftover packs.
