Chinesisches Schießpulver - Probe

That smoky, bold flavor is exactly what I was hoping for — it’s rich without being bitter, and the loose leaves brew up a deep amber cup that smells like a campfire. I’ve been having it mid-afternoon instead of coffee, and it’s become my little ritual.

The loose leaf form is a nice change from teabags, and the smoky boldness really comes through in the first sip without being bitter. Poured myself a second cup before the kettle even cooled down.

That smoky punch is exactly what I hoped for — bold and rich, just like the description says. The loose leaves brew up dark and satisfying, and the sample size was perfect for figuring out my steep time. Definitely ordering the full bag.
