The removable filter is the best part — I can screw it off and brew loose leaf straight in the pitcher, then leave the leaves in for a stronger second round. Cold brew comes out clean with zero grit, and it holds enough for two of us on a hot afternoon.
The removable filter is the best part, I just screw it off when I want fruit slices floating in there instead of tea leaves. Makes a full pitcher of iced tea overnight and the seal hasn't leaked once in the fridge.
I've been cold brewing loose leaf in this thing overnight and the tea comes out so smooth, no bitterness at all. Screwing the filter off to dump the leaves is way less messy than my old setup. It's been in my fridge door every day since.
