ASSAM, INDIA:

La tenuta di tè Hunwal si trova nel distretto di Jorhat, nella regione indiana dell'Assam, a sud del fiume Brahmaputra. Gran parte della regione dell'Assam si trova a un'altitudine di 1000-4000 piedi sul livello del mare, il che le conferisce temperature più fresche rispetto alla media rispetto ad altre regioni dell'India. Queste temperature fresche, insieme alle abbondanti piogge, accelerano lo sviluppo di qualità molto ricche e forti nelle foglie di tè nero.

I've been drinking this every morning for a week and the oaky, toasty notes really come through without turning bitter when I forget it steeping. The smokiness is subtle, not like a lapsang, and it holds up fine with a splash of milk. For the price I'll definitely be keeping a tin of this around.
