The rooibos base makes this so smooth that I don't even need to add milk, which I usually do with mint teas. I've been drinking a cup every night before bed and the chocolate note is stronger than the mint, which I actually prefer.
I wasn't sure chocolate and mint would work in a rooibos, but it totally does. The cocoa comes through first, then the peppermint cools it down, and it's naturally caffeine-free so I've been drinking it before bed.
The rooibos base keeps this from tasting like straight candy, so the mint and chocolate come through without being too sweet. I've been drinking a cup before bed instead of dessert and it's become a nice little ritual.
