I was skeptical about lavender in tea, but it's surprisingly subtle here—just a soft floral note that makes the afternoon cup feel like a little ritual. It steeps up strong enough to wake me up without any bitterness, and the bergamot lingers nicely on the finish.
I've been drinking Earl Grey for years and this one leans much more floral, with the bergamot coming through sharper than the black tea base. Only gripe is the lavender gets a bit strong if I steep it past four minutes.
The lavender doesn't overpower the bergamot at all—it actually softens the black tea's edge nicely. Brews up a pretty purple-tinged cup and gives me a steady lift through the afternoon slump. Only knock is the bag feels a bit thin; the flavor fades if you leave it steeping too long.
