Das Teegut Hunwal liegt im Distrikt Jorhat in der indischen Region Assam, südlich des Brahmaputra-Flusses. Ein Großteil der Region Assam liegt auf einer Höhe von 1000–4000 Fuß über dem Meeresspiegel, was der Region im Vergleich zu anderen Regionen Indiens kühlere Durchschnittstemperaturen beschert. Diese kühlen Temperaturen zusammen mit hohen Niederschlägen beschleunigen die Entwicklung sehr reicher, kräftiger Eigenschaften in den Schwarztee-Blättern.

I've been drinking this every morning for a week and the oaky, toasty notes really come through without turning bitter when I forget it steeping. The smokiness is subtle, not like a lapsang, and it holds up fine with a splash of milk. For the price I'll definitely be keeping a tin of this around.
