I usually find green tea too bitter, but this sencha has a clean grassy flavor that stays smooth if you don't oversteep it. The vegetal notes really come through compared to matcha, which I've always found a bit heavier.
Steeped a pot at 175°F for about a minute and the grassy, vegetal flavor came through clean without any bitterness. Nice to find a sencha that tastes this fresh in a larger bag.
