当店のミルクウーロン茶は、中国安徽省産の鉄観音ウーロン茶です。ウーロン茶の製造は一般的なお茶とは異なり、外側から内側へと半発酵させます。当店のミルクウーロンは緑のウーロン茶で、半発酵させ短時間のみ乾燥させており、有名な高山茶と多くの共通点があります。
The buttery, creamy flavor is so rich I keep forgetting there's nothing actually added to it. Steeping it a little longer brings out this almost dessert-like finish that I wasn't expecting from a plain oolong.
I've been drinking this every morning instead of coffee and I'm honestly not missing it — the natural creaminess is wild for a tea with zero added flavoring. Steeping it around 3 minutes keeps it buttery without turning bitter.
Steeped this at 190°F for three minutes and it came out so smooth, no bitterness at all. The natural creaminess means I don't need milk or sugar, which is rare for an oolong. Already halfway through my second bag.
